Greg Mortenson to Speak at 10th Annual Lanterns Luncheon April 8, 2010

Humanitarian and international peace-maker Greg Mortenson will be the featured honoree for the 10th Annual Lanterns Award Luncheon with proceeds benefiting MOSTE (Motivating Our Students Through Experience).

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday April 8, 2010 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. The lunch will include speeches by current and former MOSTE youth participants and MOSTE mentors as well as an address from Greg Mortenson.

MOSTE is a grassroots mentoring organization with a big mission: change the lives of underserved girls in Los Angeles County by providing them with the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of going to college. MOSTE begins in seventh grade and continues through college culmination to provide mentoring, scholarship and college-access programs aimed at getting 100% of participants into and through college successfully.
