Green Meadow holds screening of Mother Nature's Child July 27, 2011

Green Meadow Early Childhood Center at Tappan Hill School is holding a screening of Mother Nature’s Child on July 27.

The 57-minute documentary looks into the extinction of recess and outside play due to an increased focus on classroom learning. Experts in this documentary expose the effects of “nature deficit disorder” on children’s health, development and attitude, from preschool to high school.

After the screening, there will be a discussion on the documentary. On-site childcare is available.
