Green Drinks Calgary launch September 18, 2007

Now being held in over 240 cities worldwide - we're excited to put Calgary on the Green Drinks map!

What is Green Drinks?

Originating in the U.K. in 1989, Green Drinks is an informal gathering of environmental like-minds who already work in the sector, would like to or are studying to, to those who are just passionate about environmental issues and would like share their knowledge and learn more.

It's an organic, self-organizing network where people have the opportunity to gather, enjoy a bite & drinks while discussing anything ?green?.
Most of all, Green Drinks is a free-form event, so anything goes, but we know that everyone would welcome a little structure from time to time, so we plan on holding nights with speakers from various environmental sectors as well as fundraiser events such as BBQ?s in the summer months.

Calgary Green Drinks will be a great opportunity to come out and network, say hi to friends, make new ones and learn something you never knew before.
Now that we have set the stage for a Calgary Green Drinks, come join us, bring friends and let the discussions begin!

When: Sep. 18th (official launch) then 2nd Tue. every month thereafter

Who: Open to people of all ages and walks of life who share a common interest about local and international environmental and sustainability issues.
