In this new course, English professor Louis Markos will tour the magical and dramatic world of Greek mythology. Beginning with its origins and an examination of the Greek pantheon, Dr. Markos will lead participants through a fast-paced yet in-depth tour of ancient stories of gods and heroes, love and war, triumph and tragedy stories that have inspired Western poets and writers for centuries. He will also explore the deeper meanings of the myths and their relevance today.
