251 Post Street, 2nd floor
San Francisco, California 94108

Opening reception Friday April 16, 5-9pm; Exhibit runs until May 22, 2010

Cain Schulte Gallery San Francisco is pleased to announce the upcoming move to a larger and permanent gallery space at 251 Post Street, in the Union Square district of San Francisco. In conjunction with the move, the gallery welcomes new co-directors Andre Rozanoff and Tim Hyland, who will be active partners in running the gallery with founder Marina Cain.

"In an effort to constantly enhance the Cain Schulte experience, we are excited to be moving to this new fantastic space downtown San Francisco," said Ms. Cain. "The new space will allow us to present our thought-provoking contemporary art in a more accessible location for our collectors."

With 1,400 square feet of exhibition space and direct exposure onto Post Street, the Gallery's new venue with its open space, high ceilings, and natural light streaming from the floor-to-ceiling windows, will create a unique setting that will allow artists to present works and installations that draw upon the dramatic location.

In addition to the new space, Cain Schulte welcomes new partners Andre Rozanoff as Director of Sales and Tim Hyland as Marketing and Administrative Director.

"With Andre's and Tim's combined business and art experience," said Ms. Cain, who remains Artistic Director, "we have a great team to produce an exciting program and to promote our artists to the public and the community. It is a real thrill to have them join the gallery in the expansion of Cain Schulte San Francisco, and to cooperate with our sister gallery, Cain Schulte Berlin."

The inaugural show will feature artworks by David Buckingham, Jason Dunda, Mason Eubanks, Patrick Gabler, Henry Jackson, Linda Karshan, Will Marino, Eva and Franco Mattes aka 0100101110101101.ORG, Daniel Ochoa, Justin Quinn, Owen Schuh, Rex Ray, Lars Theuerkauff, and Michael Tole. The exhibition will run until May 22, 2010.
