Grand Opening of the Mission Bay Parks! September 8, 2008

GRAND OPENING OF MISSION CREEK PARK’S SPORTS COURTS AND RECREATIONAL AREAS





On Saturday, September 20th, the Neighborhood Parks Council, in association with Catellus Development Group, the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, and Mission Bay Parks Management, will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Mission Bay North Recreational Parks. The location is along the north shore of Mission Creek at the southwest end of Berry Street.

The day's events include activities which showcase the new park's unique features: basketball competitions, tennis and volleyball exhibitions, kayaking, dog agility events, children's activities, refreshments, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The featured musical guest is the local upbeat surf band, Pollo Del Mar.
