Strong Woman Blues is what Kathy Leonardo calls her original blues numbers. There is definitely no “woe is me” attitude with this woman. In times like these, Leonardo’s music is thriving. “People need to get out and play, says Kathy. I try to work at venues where there is no cover charge so friends can come enjoy themselves, hear some upbeat music and meet new people.

Hosted by Jodi Siegel and Alfred Johnson, Singer/Songwriter Kathy Leonardo, is one of the featured performers and will be singing her original sassy Blues and ballads.

Kathy Leonardo, a 4’11” feisty dynamo mostly known for her Strong Woman Blues is originally from New York. Being a professional actress/singer and having worked on Broadway, gives Kathy a vibrant slant to her live performances. Her touching ballads are a wonderful compliment to her side splitting blues numbers….where she exposes the hilarity of single life and dating. Jodi Siegel a Singer/guitarist has had her songs covered by Maria Muldaur, Marcia Ball, Teresa James and others. Alfred Johnson is a New Orleans style pianist & co-writer on Ricki Lee Jones debut platinum Grammy Award winning album.
