Good Sports 6th Annual Legends of the Ball September 10, 2009

Each year Good Sports and its partners host an event to generate support for youth sports, fitness, and recreation. It is more important than ever that young people are healthy and active, and with sports declining at record rates, now is the time to act. This event will enable Good Sports to provide sports equipment to disadvantaged youth getting them involved in physical activity.

The Good Sports 6th Annual Legends of the Ball will be held on September 10 at The Roxy in Boston’s Theatre District. The event will bring together the corporate and sports world in a fun, celebratory setting to show support for youth sports. Tom Caron and Glenn Ordway will emcee the event while honorees include Manny Delcarmen of the Boston Red Sox. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra, (www.anatro.com)

Single tickets are $125 before August 30th, $150 after August 30th, and group packages of eight are available for $1,000. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.goodsports.org. Must be 21 to enter.
