The Rotary Clubs of Goleta will host Goleta’s much anticipated 15th annual Fireworks Festival on Wednesday, July 4th. The Festival will take place at Girsh Park from 4:00 pm to 10:00pm. Admission is $6.00 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult. The event will feature great food, entertainment, and FREE family oriented activities – such as an ice rink and bounce houses for children over 6, games, a watermelon eating contest, and obstacle courses run by city fire fighters. The fireworks show will take place at 9:00 pm and will last approximately 20 minutes. Great raffle prizes include a $1,000 cash prize, an iPad, and $500 cash cards. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20 at the event. Musical entertainment will be provided by Area 51 and The Excellent Tradesmen. Goleta’s former mayor, Eric Onnen, will serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies.

The Goleta Fireworks Festival expects over 4,000 attendees and will serve as a major fundraiser for the Rotary Clubs of Goleta. Proceeds will go towards scholarships for local students, other community organizations, and next year’s fireworks festival.
