Representing 3 area codes (Keene, NH, Cincinnati, OH, and Aurora, Illinois), these 3 artists came together by coincidence. In 2001, Adeem found djdq in Cincinnati and Maker in Chicago both bringing a unique sound to the world of music and interested in trying something new. They asked what happens when you stuff 3 artists into a basement named the Sunset Lodge in Aurora, IL, for a month with nothing but a digital 8 track, computer, 1 mic, and 1 turntable? You get the soulful sound of Glue. Last fall they released their 2nd full-length album “Catch As Catch Can,” another landmark in Glue’s evolving sound, more hi-fi than the analog sound of “Seconds Away” and more fully realized than the brief but inimitable EP “Sunset Lodge.”
