Give Breast Cancer the Boot! May 24, 2011

Give Breast Cancer the Boot concert event benefitting the UCSF Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center and UCSF breast cancer programs.

Poor Man’s Whiskey is the featured performers; attire is western; valet parking provided; both tiered sponsorships as well as individual tickets are available for purchase.

6:30pm - Cocktails and buffet
7:30pm - Short program, entertainment, dancing

Proceeds from “Give Breast Cancer the Boot” support breast cancer programs at the UCSF Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center, part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health.

Last year, over 200,000 people in the U.S. were diagnosed with breast cancer -- a disease that strikes 1 in 8 women during their lifetimes. Despite advances, the disease continues to claim the lives of 40,000 women and men each year.

Individual tickets are $150, and sponsorships begin at $1,500.
