Along with host Karith Foster, five of the funniest women in show business will share their exploits one night only at Comix on Tuesday, August 7th! All the comediennes have had multiple television appearances and work constantly to make better humor for women, by women.

These five ladies have appeared on VH1, Comedy Central, E!, and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” All have had rampant success doing what they love for any demographic, but now you can see them in the rarest of comedy showcases: without one male comic on stage! These comediennes are confident that they can make either sex laugh harder than ever before.

Whatever your gender, come enjoy this raucous all-female line-up at Comix!

ABOUT THE PERFOMERS:
Karith Foster (Host) is one of the hottest comics to come out of New York City. Both the Hollywood Reporter and Backstage Magazine named her one of New York City’s top 10 up and coming comics. Originally from Plano, Texas this self-described Huxtable has been seen on VH1’s “Best Week Ever!” and Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”. Her sweet Southern charm, quick wit, and abstract thoughts on growing up, dating, politics and ‘evil’ grandmas make Karith a favorite for every kind of audience. When Karith is not on the road performing she can be seen in New York’s top comedy clubs.
Helen Hong's "cute little Asian girl" demeanor leaves audiences totally unprepared for her honest, edgy material. Her hysterical character impressions have landed her on E! Entertainment TV, Style Network, ImaginAsian TV, and MSG Network. A rising star in the New York comedy scene, she's made crowds howl at all the best clubs in the city and produces her own weekly variety show, Comedy Combo #3. In addition to her comedy career, Helen maintains a bitchin' day job as a TV producer and was recently featured behind the scenes on TLC's "What Not to Wear". She loves dogs and would never ever eat one. Unless there was a really good teriyaki sauce.
Carmen Lynch was seen at HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and was a finalist on the first season of NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has also appeared in several independent films and has contributed to Mad Magazine. She performs all over New York City. For more information visit www.carmenlynch.com.
Kelly MacFarland has an extensive and well rounded
resume including comedy clubs, theaters, colleges and several television appearances. She has been the opening act for the international craze, Puppetry of the Penis, Melissa Etheridge and LeAnn Rimes. Kelly was one of three featured comedians ringing in 2006 for Boston's First Night celebration and has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend.
You may recognize her from season one of NBC's hit reality series, The Biggest Loser. Most recently, Kelly worked along side Fred Willard as part of the rambunctious news team of "TV Network" on Turner Entertainment's broadband site, SuperDeluxe.com. Kelly is animated, clever and full of sass.
Veronica Mosey's strong opinions and fiery performances have earned her regular stage time at Gotham Comedy Club, The Comic Strip and The Comedy Cellar in New York City as well as appearances on the Dr. Phil Show and the prestigious HBO Aspen Comedy Festival. She was also featured in the premiere episode of "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central. Veronica's sarcastic wit has been published in Us Weekly Magazine's Fashion Police segment. She explores a wide range of topics from today's hovering parents and their out of control toddlers to reflections on her own crazy opinionated family.
