SUNDAY, April 26, 2–4pm
Wesleyan professor anthropologist Gina A. Ulysse and Movement Teaching Artist Kerry Kincy (Green Street instructor and TA in residence at Children’s Home of Cromwell and with Judy Dworin Performance Project Inc., Moving Matters!) will have a conversation about the challenges and joys using the arts to tell stories of survival that would otherwise remain untold and explore the healing power of the arts in diverse communities.

Part of the Sunday Salon Discussion Series
Embrace your inquiring mind at this monthly meeting for creative expression and curious individuals. In the 18th century, a “salon” was a social gathering of people who discussed their ideas and observations. Chemistry professor David Beveridge hosts Green Street’s salon, which introduces the work of Wesleyan faculty. Salons usually include an informal talk or demonstration and plenty of time for questions and socializing. We provide the refreshments.
