Gimme Shelter May 12, 2012

Operation Home announces the 2nd Annual Gimme Shelter presented by Home Team BBQ. The Big Easy comes to the Lowcountry with lively entertainment, funky music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe and a taste of New Orleans. Prepared by Home Team BBQ Executive Chef Aaron Siegel, the menu is complete with a Crawfish Boil, Jambalaya, Mini Po-Boys, Red Beans and Rice as well as plenty of Hurricanes and more. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door.

Operation Home's mission is to help low-income residents of the tri-county area remain in their homes by increasing safety and accessibility through the coordination of critical home repairs. Their work focuses on the people the most in need including households that contain children, people with disabilities or older adults. Operation Home is committed to ensuring that no person has to live in a home that is inaccessible or dangerous.
