On Sunday, January 14th, Giant Step will once again commemorate the life and legend of political activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in true musical fashion. Packing dance floors year in and year out on this historical day of importance, we look to bring you back for another round of sounds - both old and the new school! 2007 calls over one of UK's foremost DJs, Norman Jay MBE and NY staple DJ Nickodemus of Turntables on the Hudson for a very special, one-of-a-kind musical tribute to Dr. King!

Co-founder of the legendary Good Times Sound System, Talkin' Loud Records with Gilles Peterson as well as his "Original Rare Groove Show" on the infamous Kiss FM, Norman Jay has been featured as one of Mixmag's Top 100 DJs in the world and one of the Face magazine's most influential club culture figures of the decade. Pioneering the sound of rare groove, house and acid jazz during the heady days of Britain's increasing ascendancy in the global dance scene, Norman Jay has also kick started the careers in the UK of original US divas Jocelyn Brown, Chaka Khan, Sharon Red, Loleatta Holloway, Kim Myzelle and Gwyhn Guthrie.
