A visually compelling exhibit of 28 masks of bronze and aluminum combined with tortoise shells. The models are from the Charleston area.

Mike Morrison comes to the Averitt Center from Isle of Palms, South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art from the College of Charleston, SC. He also received his Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He has served on the teaching and technical staff at Johnson Atelier in Mercerville, NJ, and has taught workshops in aluminum and plaster casting in a number of countries including Mexico and Guatemala. Morrison is currently working from his studio in SC, where his subject matter concentrates on the human form.
