Ann Arbor, Michigan

Friday April 2
3:00-4:30 PM
Art & Architecture Bldg. Auditorium

Genesee County Treasurer Dan Kildee will talk about his efforts to use land banking and related initiatives to revitalize downtown Flint and link those efforts to coordinated planning and policymaking throughout the larger county region.

Dan was an active and influential member of Governor Granholms' Michigan Land Use Leadership Council this past summer, and has been using his position as County Treasurer to advance a number of the Council's recommendations in promising ways. He brings great perspective to the issues surrounding urban decline, suburban sprawl, and the opportunities and contraints for promoting revitalization.

Finally, he also happens to be a very gifted speaker you won't want to miss! Please join us on April 2nd.
