For the cost of a Newbury Street cocktail, Boston's young and civic-minded can avoid long lines and enjoy live music from Andrew DelCid & Friends -- part of the local Boston group The Underberrys -- in the up-and-coming Brigham Circle nightlife district.

On April 4, 2009, Generation Progress will host new and old friends alike from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Savant Project, 1625 Tremont Street. Come out and celebrate a new year, a new era, and make some new friends!

Pre-sale tickets are available for $14, and tickets at the door will cost $18. All tickets include one complimentary cocktail from the Savant Project's eclectic drink menu.

Pre-sale tickets can be reserved online at http://generationprogress.org/events.php

If you haven't attended a GP event, there no better time to jump on board! Bring a friend and a donation, and enjoy a complimentary cocktail, live music and an awesome night out. Come see why Generation Progress is making waves in Boston, and join the fun!

Since its establishment in 2008, Generation Progress has raised over $2,000 from young Bostonians - much of which went directly to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee during the 2008 election season.

GP will continue to host dinner parties, cocktail and tasting events, discussion groups, and nights out on the town, all while building its coffers for the midterm elections in 2010 and fostering a community among Boston's young political supporters.
