Paternoster Row
Sheffield, England S1 2BX

GeekUp Sheffield takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. It's a grass-roots knowledge sharing and networking social for folks involved or interested in all forms of technology and creative media.

This month
- Social Reporting at Unsheffield (Richard King)
- Shacknet: Sheffield Arduino Hackers Network (Jim Methley)

What with all the free music that's going on in Sheffield in July, we'll also have the launch of Sheffield Music Month, a celebration of local grassroots music geekery with some techno(logy)-geekery thrown in for good measure. (And actually, where we probably find that there's not much different between the tech and music geeks at all.)

What is GeekUp?
GeekUp is a community of tech-minded folk from the North of England. Our socials take place once a month in a lot of places and are always a lively place to share ideas and spread a little knowledge.
