Phil Winstanley will be heading this event up as I(Andrew Disley) won't be able to attend.
There are no talks planed this week purely a social event, however that doesn't stop you crowding round a laptop to see what everyone's been upto.
What is GeekUp?
GeekUp is a community of web designers, web developers, and other tech-minded folk from the North West. Our socials take place once a month in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester and are always a lively place to share ideas and spread a little knowledge.
Who can attend GeekUp?
While the focus for GeekUp is predominately web related anybody involved in the technology industry is more than welcome to attend a GeekUp. The monthly events are free, we just ask that you buy your own beer.

I'll be there - this is very good timing for my business - I currently have 3/4 client projects due to kick-off over the next 2 months and its critical that I bring on board the appropriately skilled developer, more than likely on a contract basis.
Hopefully there will be a few of you looking to use your Ajax/Ruby/CMS understanding to work on some very interesting user experience focused projects which I would like to discuss with available developers.
