ARE YOU A GEEK WHO BRINGS TECHNOLOGY TO BURNING MAN?
Not just a laptop to check your email once during the week when you randomly hop on the nearest Wifi cloud, but the kind of geek who brings a whole car full of technology and towers and then beams bits and bytes all over the playa and into the universe?

The Geek Week WiFi Summit Conference is hosted by the Burning Man Technology Department, and is intended for individuals involved with large scale technological projects, or have an art project that absolutely requires Internet connectivity (e.g., the fabulous Virtual Playa project). This is where we'll talk geek talk and compare the speed of our repeaters, the size of our towers and other fun things like that. Please let us know the nature of your project, feel free to get as geeky as you wannabe.

Geek Week is held in the Black Rock Desert during the first week in July. This is were we field test out our WiFi gear, and get configurations nailed down in prepration for the Burning Man festival in August.
