I have always enjoyed Gary Morgan's music because it has an intense way of drawing you in before you know what's happening to you. I dare say the music mirrors some communication styles of men I have known. I find the underlying melody drawing and warm and then -- "Bam" you get hit hard with intense rythmn and big band, full-force jazz that keeps you hanging on for dear life, wondering "what the hell" is this. I love it!! Trust me, the ride is worth the wait, because when and where can this great music be found? It fills my passion for a "not your Miami Sound Machine" sound, but one of the best Latin jazz big band sounds I've heard in a long time. Where and when will they be performing in New York in the upcoming months? I want to be there!!
