Combining circus skills, mime, original music and audience involvement in the exploration of scientific principles of gravity, leverage, fulcrums and simple machines, Toying with Science is a fast-paced program of learning through fun. Perfect for elementary school age children and their families. Garry Krinsky's show is both literally and figuratively a balancing act. The vaudeville style stunts are first-rate. Better yet, he ties and reties each of them back to scientific principles. He has the unique ability to both entertain and educate.

It has been said that Garry Krinsky resembles a living cartoon with his animated movement and non-stop energy. His theater experience is extensive. Garry co-founded the Patchwork Players, and was an original member of both the Boston Buffoons and the Wright Bros., a New England vaudeville troupe. Since 1978, Garry has brought his high energy and experience to thousands of schools, theaters and festivals.

Since its creation in 1995, Garry Krinsky’s acclaimed Toying with Science program has toured across the U.S. and Canada to rave reviews. Toying with Science, first commissioned by the Museum of Science in Boston, has been performed at the Kennedy Center of Washington DC, Victoria Theatre of Dayton, Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, Kravis Center, Broward Center, and Ruth Eckerd Hall in Florida, the Broadway Center and Everett Theater in Washington, the Markham Theatre in Ontario, and other theaters and festivals across the United States. Garry has also had appearances on NBC’s Today Show and for Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors.
