Gamelan Burat Wangi April 4, 2009

The renowned Los Angeles-based gamelan Burat Wangi (Fragrant Offering) stages two exquisite performances of Balinese court music and dance, showcasing brand-new music and dance repertoire, as well as cross-genre and cross-cultural collaborations. Featuring tap dance accompanied by a performance of Balinese monkey chant (kecak), gamelan with the North Indian tabla, newly choreographed dances, and Balinese classical dance.
