Creating a low water use landscape means not only choosing drought-tolerant plants, but choosing the right site and being sure they get off to a great start. This is the time of year to plant a water-wise garden, and Roger Waters of Roger Waters Environments is the man to show us how to do it. In this lecture/demonstration Roger will cover plant selection and micro-climates, soils in our Bay Area, and proper watering techniques, using Gamble's Drought Tolerant bed as a reference. He will also cover retrofitting an existing irrigation system.

Roger Waters is the owner of Roger Waters Environments, a unique company specializing in landscape water management technologies to effectively maximize plant growth and health, optimize water usage, and minimize maintenance costs.
