Between and Around a 90 degree Angle
Solo Exhibition by Sabra Sowell
This solo exhibition by Sabra Sowell contains two bodies of work that explore the possibilities of relating abstract, organic work within a ninety-degree angle and around a two hundred and seventy-degree angle. One body of work investigates a "real" architectural space using primarily wood and metal to form eight to ten foot tall corners with two and three dimensional drawings interacting within the defined space. The other body of work investigates an imagined space through an intimate scale using copper measuring eight to ten inches for the corners. Copper, silver, brass and bronze are then used for the relating elements.
