Digibusiness Uusimaa is arranging for the third time an event, where seasoned growth-entrepreneur shares his experiences with other entrepreneurs. Previously Jyri Engeström from Jaiku and Sampo Karjalainen from Sulake have gone through their entrepreneurial stories.

On November 3rd Tero Sarkkinen shares his insights about directing a growth company through difficult times. Tero Sarkkinen is an experienced international software business manager. He is CEO of Futuremark and has held various key roles within the company since 1999.
In 2000, Tero relocated to Silicon Valley and incorporated Futuremark Inc. That same year world’s dot com economy imploded and with that, Futuremark’s then current strategy became obsolete. The company had 400 000 euros of monthly burn rate and virtually zero revenues. Tero managed radical downsizing of the company, refocused it and raised the company to profitability. Now, after growing the company to over 5M euros in revenue, he is back in Finland and happy to share his experience with fellow start-up and growth company entrepreneurs.

The event is open to everyone, free and held in Finnish. To register, send email to [email protected] or sign up in Upcoming.
