Online fundraising has moved on from running a good website and emailing your supporters. Your supporters are now spending their time at other popular sites like Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. They are getting used to publishing their own content online - photos, videos, blog posts. So, you need to follow your donors.

Howard Lake shows you how charities and voluntary organisations can take advantage of this change and the new tools available. Focusing on the fundraising rather than the technology, this half-day course will give you a good understanding of how you can use the new 'social media' websites and tools to support and extend your fundraising.

The morning will cover the fundraising potential of:

* blogging
* user generated content
* RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
* bookmarking and tagging
* social networks (like Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, and Twitter)
* podcasting
* widgets

Delegates are invited to bring their laptops with them to use the venue's free wi-fi, but laptops are certainly not essential.

NB. Ticket prices are £75 + VAT, and £150 + VAT. The VAT will be included when you pay on Paypal.

PS. Don't forget that in the afternoon we're running a half-day course in the same room on Fundraising with Twitter:
