A tremendous trio exploring the outer reaches of the saxophone trio format, using the music of Steve Lacy as a starting point. Scott Fultz is one of the most fearlessly creative saxophonists in Minneapolis. He appears regularly with the NowNet and Monk In Motian, and leads his own groups through original music that has roots in standard and free jazz. Bassist Adam Linz, a member of celebrity jazz trio and Shaggs cover band Fat Kid Wednesdays, can be found all over Minneapolis in as many different groups as there are days in the week. Or month. Alden Ikeda is one of the more eclectic percussionists in town. Possessing an amazing inner swing, Ikeda is equally at home in free jazz contexts as he is in standards settings.
