Come and join in with the winter festivities, with music, food, shopping, workshops and fun for all. Bankside’s Frost Fair is returning to the Riverwalk outside Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe. The award winning event is London’s largest free winter event attracting over 100,000 people and will provide entertainment for all the family.

The Frost Fair will officially open on Friday December 15 at 4pm with the Twelve Days of Christmas lantern parade from Southwark Cathedral to Tate Modern led by 300 local school children.

Other festivities include:

* Husky Dog Sledding
* Thames Cutters Boat procession
* Adult and children workshops in Mongolian yurts
* Ice sculptures
* Entertainers
* Music
* A winter market with over 40 stalls including food and drink, and arts and crafts

Shakespeare’s Globe will have stalls in the undercroft.
