The 2nd oldest Snowshoe event in Oregon!

Directions to Start:
From Portland take HWY 26 to Mt. Hood. Continue on HWY 26 past Government Camp about 10-miles. The Sno Park will be on the left hand side of the road if you are coming from Government Camp. Be sure to have a Sno Park permit.

"The Best Snowshoe Event"
Frog Lake Snowshoe has been voted by snowshoers as the top snowshoe event in Oregon. A fun and adventuruous course leads participants to the top of Frog Lake Butte for spectacular views. The return is a hoot, chasing down the Butte for some warm goodies at the finsih.

About the Event:
This event will begin and end at Frog Lake Sno Park. The Frog Lake Butte serves as the midway point of this course. The tremendous trek through the trees will bring you back to the Frog Lake Sno Park.

Snowshoeing Events:
The Snowshoe events are designed for everyone. If you can walk 5-miles you will finish. There will be great competition for the endorphin junkies and great scenery and camaraderie and scenery for those looking for a little outdoor adventure.

Awards:
Awards will be given out at each event. The top three overall and top masters will receive awards. In addition winners of the following age divisions will win awards:
19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Post Event:
After each event there will be a brief awards presentation and a random prize drawing.
There will also be warm treats and snacks.
