The lounge, designed by Robert McKinley (previously of Armani and Donna Karan), is simple but opulent, and takes cues from the Haitian background of its owners. Exposed brick and cinder-block walls imported from Haiti rise above the rosewood floors and buttery brown-leather booths to meet the vaulted 20-foot-high ceilings and wide skylights. DJs play eminently danceable tunes, ranging from classic R&B to world music
