Fresno Rainbow Pride 2008 June 7, 2008

Fresno Rainbow Pride, the Central Valley’s Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender (GLBT) Pride Parade and Festival is Saturday, June 7, 2008.

The Parade and Festival will take place in Fresno’s Tower District

The Parade route is east bound on Olive Avenue and begins at Palm Avenue and terminates at Maroa Avenue. The Parade will start at 10 am.

Following the Parade will be a street festival celebrating the GLBT culture with GLBT entertainers, awards, speeches, food, information, and merchandise booths. There will be a children’s area and children’s activities for members of the community with families.

The Pride Festival will open at the conclusion of the Pride Parade roughly around 11 am and close at 3 pm. The coverage charge for entry into the Pride Festival is $5.

Fresno Rainbow Pride invites everyone, STRAIGHT, GAY, or somewhere IN BETWEEN to come and enjoy this unique cultural event for the Central Valley.
