Visual Aid & The Academy of Friends are pleased to announce the fifth annual Spring Auction called Fresh. The event is a lively art auction and fundraiser benefiting Visual Aid's programs for artists with life-threatening illnesses, and the Academy of Friends, helping HIV/AIDS service organizations.

The event begins with a preview party featuring the fabulous DJ Christopher B, specialty cocktails, wine and light hors d'oeuvres, followed by a riveting, live art auction of 40+ works of art donated by well-known local artists, and luxury items such as hotel stays, jewelry and more.

Check out the artwork and items for sale, have a glass of wine, then relax and put yourself in the capable hands of our charming and knowledgeable auctioneer, Stephen Tourell of Toomey-Tourell Fine Art, as he guides you through an evening of thrilling art bidding. Challenge yourself to up your bids and donations, as all proceeds will benefit organizations serving people with HIV/AIDS, Breast Cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Sometimes provocative, always exciting, this year's artwork selection features paintings, sculpture, prints and photographs that range from cool and delicious, to vibrant pop. All items were donated by top local artists, collectors and galleries.
