Sneak into the 3rd session of our local French expert's wine course. Let Raphael take you through various famed wine regions, while you pick up tips on tasting, production, cultural significance, vocabulary and more. The course includes a tasting of 3 to 4 wines.

Tonight's region: wines from Burgundy (France)

The most famous wines produced in Burgundy are red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes or white wines made from Chardonnay grapes. More importantly, Burgundy is the most terroir-oriented region in France; immense attention is paid to the area of origin, and in which of the region's 400 types of soil a wine's grapes are grown. This focus is reflected on the wine's labels where appellations are most prominent and producer's names often appear at the bottom in much smaller text. Come and join us to learn even more and taste some great examples from the region.
