Meet Phillippe and Francoise Gourdon, the winemakers of Chateau Tour Grise, a highly respected boutique winery in the Loire Valley’s famous Saumur wine appellation. Chateau Tour Grise has been producing organic wines since 1991 and biodynamic wines since 1998. The vineyards are planted with 15 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 5 hectares of Chenin Blanc, the most popular grapes of the region, and home to a 6 mile long wine cellar - large enough to drive a car through.
Executive Chef Pierre Landet has paired a four-course menu with Tour Grise’s biodynamic wines, including a sparkling wine, a dry Chenin Blanc white, the region’s renowned red Cabernet Franc and a late harvest dessert wine.
