Freedom Trail Tour: The Road to the Revolution May 1, 2011

Walk the road to the American Revolution on this perfect introduction to the history of Boston.

This historic walk features many of the downtown Freedom Trail sites including the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, King's Chapel, Old South Meeting House and the site of the first public school in America.

The story of Boston is told while experiencing architecture spanning more than 3 centuries. From the protests of Samuel Adams and James Otis, to the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party, to the liberation of Boston in 1776 by General Washington and his army,we'll take you to the sites and tells the stories that led to American independence.

Boston By Foot is a nonprofit organization to promote the architecture and history of Boston. Guided walking tours are offered regularly May-October and private tours may be requested throughout the year.
