Freedom Read-a-thon January 12, 2013

The education charity WORLDwrite and its online Citizen TV station WORLDbytes, are running a twelve hour Freedom Read-a-thon on Saturday 12th January in Hackney in East London in support of press freedom and free speech. From 10am to 10pm, volunteers will be reading excerpts and chapters from banned books and great tracts on freedom. Drop in any time to listen in if you are London-based, tea and cakes will be served and there will be an excellent second-hand bookstore to browse in.
