Freedom Award Dinner November 9, 2011

The Freedom Award dinner will be held on November 9, 2011 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The reception will begin at 6:30 PM followed by dinner at 7:30 PM.
The dinner will be held in the honor of the Brokaw Family and will be featuring special guests: John Legend, David Letterman, Colin L. Powell, and others. The Dinner Co-Chairs include Lloyd C. Blankfein (The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc), Cynthia & Dan Lufkin (The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation), and Maureen White (U.S. Department of State).
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. For over 75 years, they have offered lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from conflict or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities, the IRC leads the way from harm to home.
