Free Wine Tasting Event the Day After Thanksgiving November 23, 2007

California Taste Fine Wine, the best value wine for any occasion, will be celebrating its 2nd year anniversary in Laguna Niguel on Friday November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving with a free wine tasting event. This celebration will take place at the Laguna Niguel store on Golden Lantern from 1-5pm. At this event, California Taste Fine Wine will open and the company's selected white and red favorites and saber selected bottles of champagne.

Guests will be given the opportunity to learn the art of sabering with their own selected bottle of champagne. Members of the centuries-old Confrerie du Sabre d'or (Brotherhood of the Golden Sabre) arrive at Laguna Niguel's California Taste Fine Wine as part of their awareness tour.

Spears will explain the expression "saber the bottle" and its origin with this practice. He will offer discussion about the legend of the "sabering" event included as part of a test that Napoleon administered to new officers.
