Free Sunday Movie at the Tricycle Cinema : "Notes on a Scandal" February 4, 2007

Join LTRC at the Tricycle Cinema for our monthly free Members Movie, which we are thrilled to announce is the new film “Notes on a Scandal” which stars Dame Judi Dench, Cate Blanchett and Bill Nighy.

When Sheba Hart (Blanchett) joins St. George's as the new art teacher, Barbara Covett (Dench) senses a kindred spirit. But Barbara is not the only one drawn to her. Sheba begins an illicit affair and Barbara becomes the keeper of her secret. Tipped for Oscar nominations at this year's awards, “Notes on a Scandal” is a sharp and honest study of loneliness, loyalty, envy and love written by Patrick Marber (“Closer”, “Don Juan in Soho”) and directed by Richard Eyre – former Director of the National Theatre.

Tonight, we will be meeting up in the Tricycle Café around 3.45pm or 6.15pm for a coffee ready for the film.
