On Saturday, August 13, 2011, the City of Cupertino begins its 2011 season of hosting the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival's 'Free Shakespeare in the Park' with 'Cymbeline'. The show continues through August 28, 2011, with performances on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. No tickets or reservations are needed for these complimentary performances. Bring your family, friends, a blanket, and a picnic to enjoy professional theater at no charge!

Follow Princess Innogen, heir to King Cymbeline's throne, on a magical journey as she struggles against the ambitious schemes of her wicked stepmother. Forbidden love, mistaken identities, banishment, and a magic potion - Shakespeare combines multiple styles in this fantastical story. Join us for the 400 year anniversary of this rarely produced show!

This is the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival's 29th season of providing Free Shakespeare in the Park throughout the Bay Area. "Audiences typically fill the beautiful Memorial Park amphitheater and we're proud to be such a beloved tradition in the community," says Toby Leavitt, Executive Director of San Francisco Shakespeare Festival." Memorial Park is located on Stevens Creek Boulevard, between Mary Avenue and North Stelling (across from De Anza College).
