This December, spend a fun Saturday afternoon learning about the environment, while getting some holiday shopping done at “e” inc. In addition to “e” inc.’s four hands-on science Activity Stations (“Whales,” “Who’s in the Amazon Rainforest?” “Garbage goes where?!” and “Making a Difference”), it will be hosting a “Swap Shop” and recycled gift-making projects for kids.

To participate in the Swap Shop, simply bring in a gently used toy, book or game that your child has outgrown, and trade it in for a different used item. If your child would like to make a gift out of repurposed materials, please bring in a toilet-paper tube on Dec. 4, a newspaper on Dec. 11 or a small glass jar and lid on Dec. 18. The Learning Room Activity Stations will be open every Saturday in December (except Christmas) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the gift-making projects will be at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Good for grades K-6. Donations gratefully accepted.

'e' inc. is an environment science and civics organization bringing in-depth, hands-on, exciting programs to children and youth throughout Greater Boston.
