Experience Proctor's up close with this special walking tour. The tour includes Proctor's mainstage with it's new stage-house, now three times larger than the original stage, and a visit to the new star dressing rooms; Proctor's new GE Theatre with the iwerks extreme screen, with retractable theater seating for 434 people; the atrium and the new conference spaces. Proctor's famous Wurlitzer Theatre Organ, "Goldie," will be played and will demonstrate the varieties of sounds used during the silent movies. Tours of the historic restored 1926-vaudeville palace and the two new theatres are given approximately once a month by trained volunteers. These tours offer an informal glimpse of the entire facility, including the new Proctor's Guild Room, Proctor's Museum and the district heat plant.
