If you scratch the surface of any writer/performer, you'll find they secretly long to be a musician. Next Wednesday, we'll be scratching that itch when we bring three of my favorite writer/performers together with one of the best little jazz trios in NYC. Each performer will read a piece, as a live jazz band improvises behind them.

HOSTED BY: Liam McEneaney

His first book, "21 Dog Years," was published by the Free Press. He is performing his new monologue, "How Theater Failed America,," at The Public.

Kyria Abrahams - is a writer and performer whose upcoming memoir, "I'M PERFECT, YOU'RE DOOMED: Tales of a Jehovah's Witness Upbringing," will be published by Touchstone/Fireside, a division of Simon & Schuster.
