WHO WE ARE-

San Francisco White Crane Silat is a nonprofit martial arts organization. Our group is friendly & diverse, and includes people from all different ages and backgrounds. At times, you can find us making each other laugh, and enjoying food and drinks together after trainings!

Trainers are unpaid, female & male volunteers that have trained in Indonesia. Membership dues go towards the rental of space.

WHY WHITE CRANE SILAT IS UNIQUE-

* Receive individualized training, and learn movements based on animal, Chinese gods and immortals, earth elements, White Crane, Snake, Tiger, Dragon, Monkey, Long Sleeve system, Women's fighting systems, Drunken, Lo-Huan, Quan Yin styles.

* Learn Indonesian language & culture, & meet trainers & students all over the world!

The White Crane holistic system blends self-defense, tumbling, sparring, breathing systems, fitness training and beautiful long forms based on traditional martial arts exercises that include movements with centuries old principles of health applications.
