Free Energy in-store June 3, 2010

Philadelphia-based Free Energy will play a free, all-ages in-store at Criminal Records on Thursday, June 3rd at 6 pm before the play at the Star Bar right across the street.

Free Energy is on James Murphy's (LCD Soundsystem) DFA records. They released a self-titled EP in 2009 and their debut release, Stuck on Nothing, was release earlier this year. The single "Dream City" was named Best New Track by Pitchfork saying the song "is the last thing you'd expect from DFA. It's a total car radio summer jam, a chugging singalong that could make a hell of a sitcom theme (a good thing!)."
