Hi Everyone,
Just a note to let you know that I'll be DJ'ing at Forbidden Island in Alameda this Thursday, 3/22. Expect to hear a heavy dose of SE Asian 60's pop & Japanese GS, along with a heapin' helpin' of American & British surf/instro, garage, mod, soul, Hawaiiana, and even some Hammond-fueled jazz, circa 1958-1970.
Forbidden Island is the Bay Area's premier tiki bar, and I think it's the happiest place on earth! Using fresh-pressed juices and a lot of love, their specialty drinks can't be beat. Come and sip on a Vesper, Mai Tai, or China Clipper, while we take you on a musical journey!
I'll be there from 7:30 'til 11:30. Free admission. 21+
