FREE 'Almost Chanukah!' Fair with live music! December 11, 2011

Chanukah starts at sundown on Dec. 20 this year, but it is never too early to get into the spirit!

All are invited to a FREE "Almost Chanukah!" fair featuring: live music by Ruach U'Nishama! (classic Jewish rock) and by John Erlich; guided Israeli folk dancing; Chanukah latkes and doughnuts; crafts by local Bay Area artists; Chanukah stories; children's books; menorahs, beautiful candles, chocolate gelt, and dreidels; exotic Judaica from Africa and China; decorate Chanukah cookies and make your own candles booths; and a jumpy house!
Participate in a holiday gift drive: bring a new toy, book, game, or item of clothing for a child in need age 3-18 in Oakland.
