You've heard of TED. Meet his brother, Fred. He's slightly less ambitious but just as fun to be around.
TED's signature event, TED2010, kicks off February 9th - featuring four days of acclaimed performances and 18-minute TED Talks on Ideas Worth Spreading.
If you won't be at TED2010 (you can't get away or don't have $10K), then please join us for FRED's inaugural event: "The Power of Chocolate to Change the Future," brought to you by PR & Company and Tajima Creative.
Conveniently hosted at the home of SF superstar chocolate maker, TCHO, and just in time for Valentine's Day, FRED will feature a 17-minute FRED Talk, plus tours of TCHO's factory and plenty of frivolity, revelry, eating (chocolate sampling) and drinking (chocolate-friendly red wine).
You can also pick up a sweet Valentine's Day gift - the chocolate Martha Stewart Living called "the hands-down star in our blind taste test".
Party proceeds will benefit three Haiti relief efforts: Doctors Without Borders, Partners in Health, and Mercy & Sharing.
